The tour will head towards the Douro River and the city of Régua - capital of the Douro region - chosen by the Marquis of Pombal (18th century) to be the center of one of the first demarcated wine regions in the world.
A brief visit to the historic train station, known for its impressive 24 tile panels depicting the Douro landscape and aspects of the grape harvest.
In the small town of Pinhão, the heart of the Valley, we invite you to experience the magnificent landscapes on a one-hour boat trip along the river.
After a delicious lunch, you will not only taste award-winning wines, but also increase your knowledge about the wonderful Douro region and its unique wines.
